So I have to sum up two insanely busy days quickly… yikes!
Training! Training! Training! But it doesn’t even feel like work. I love it! I’ve been learning so much about the Magic Kingdom and all its in’s and out’s and it’s so fascinating! I’ve officially been “backstage” a.k.a. behind the scenes in both the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom and it blows my mind! I’ve seen the parks tens of times but it’s truly a whole new world back there! I feel so privileged to be a character attendant too. I honestly feel like I just have the absolute best job in the parks because of the guest interaction. It’s truly my job to make people’s days better and that’s right up my alley! I’ve also had some incredibly amazing trainers who I can’t wait to see again tomorrow and I don’t know how many people can say that and truly mean it! I got to learn from a gal who is very very very close friends with Ariel and she just had the most mushy-adorable-over the top-so cute it makes you sick love story I had ever heard about meeting her own Prince Eric. I obviously have to be very careful about what I put on here when it comes to people who are best of friends with the characters because I don’t know who could stumble on it and I could get into pretty serious trouble. Plus it’s being drilled into our heads just how much importance here at Disney’s is placed on maintaining the integrity and legacy of our (I get to say our since I’m a part of the company now and that feels so surreal!) characters. I’m exhausted and off to bed even though I get to sleep in until 7:00 tomorrow… which yes, is sleeping in.
