Lights on! Lights off!
Last night was so incredible!!! All cast members were invited to a special 2-hour party over on Sunset Boulevard at Hollywood Studios to ride Tower of Terror and Rock-N-Roller Coater. Buuuuuuuut! Not only did we have the whole area exclusively to ourselves, but they were running Rock-n-Roller with all the lights on! Helllluuuurrr!!! I’ve only dreamed of being lucky enough to be Emergency Stopped to be able to do that, it was CRAZY! But before we did that, we did some runs over at Tower of Terror in which we had the choice of regular ride quality, or lights on. Needless to say we did both several times, including once where we had an elevator just to my D-Fam and I and we decided that we would take an awesome picture where we all pretended to be dead except for Blake who would be screaming in the middle. While loading the elevator, we told the Tower worker about our gameplan to act dead and all, and he thought it was hilarious, welllllll, once we reached the top of the drop shaft, an old fashioned phone ringing noise came on over our elevator to which we all freaked because that isn’t normal, and a voice came from the darkness, “Are you dead in there?…You look dead… Do you need medical attention?” You could hear laughing in the background so it was obvious that he wasn’t serious, plus we were all cast members, so they expect us to know exactly when the drop and such is suppossed to happen. So I’m pretty sure the people up in Tower’s control room got a solid laugh out of the 7 of us positioning ourselves in a dead manner and wanted to make our ride even better (because you listen for the verbal cue to know when you’ll be dropping, but they overrode that cue to talk to us) It was so crazy fun and special and just for us. It really made me feel like a celebrity.
Also Pat’s here so I’m gonna wake him up from his mini-nap since I made him wake up early, and then saw how tired he actually was and decided he’d be better off with a little extra sleep. Magic Kingdom today!!! We are having a BLAST together, day 3 here we coooooooooooome!
