I’m super tired but I’m sure you’ve just been dying to get an update!

…so this one’s for you! Things have just been going really great for me down here lately. After Dev, Candice, and Kara visited, Zakir and his 3 roommates came down to watch the cavs @ magic game, so I met up with them downtown (after driving around for nearly 2 hours) and had an absolute blast. We ended up meeting Danny Ferry and he bought us a round for being Cavs fans out and about in Orlando after the recent loss a few hours earlier. It would’ve been much cooler for me if I had actually known who he was or been more knowledgeable about the management behind the cavs, but the truth is, I just thought it was cool because the guys I was with were freaking out about it.

Then it was off to life (sans-visitors) and Pooh’s Playground for a week of hot and humid outdoor labor escorting 2 very fuzzy, hand-holding stuffed animals to and from (and to and from, and to and from, and to and from, and to and from) their line and their dressing room. I got a decent tan and actually really enjoyed the week because I got to know the people who consistently work there a few days in a row and quite a few of our sets were downed due to heavy rain and/or lightning so every day we got to spend some time in the dressing room just hanging out together (about 8-15 of us depending on the time of day) watching TV and chatting about everything under the sun.

Oh and Stephanie and I went to see the midnight showing of Up the other night and it was EXCELLENT! Honestly it was even better than I was expecting and after all the hype (which I definitely got caught up in) I was expecting a lot already! Please please please go see it! You’ll be happy you did… Then you’ll understand why I laugh so hard about “I was hiding under your porch because I love you.” Merrrr I looooved it!

But today marked the end of my Pooh week since I was scheduled to work over at Ariel’s Grotto. It turned out to be such a great shift because I really feel like I get into a good rhythm when I’m working there and it allows me to be a phenomenal attendant. And back at the dressing room after we closed, I made a comment about my fishy friend’s wig and how they creeped me out when they weren’t on a head, to which she asked if i wanted to try it on… UMMM HELLLOOOO! Of course!!! I turned into such a little girl about it and it was definitely embarassing! So she helped me get it all set just right and it was just the funniest thing to see. My life is complete now that I know what I would look like as a red-head with one heck of a killer bang at the front of my head!!! In all honesty though it was so cool and I’m still smiling about how much I loved those 3 minutes. She made my night and she definitely knew it too.
