short and sweet…
my whole family was here for nearly a week and it was incredible!!! it was just as much of a vacation for me as it was for them and it was just so nice to be in our favorite place, getting to be a unit again. it is odd not spending the summer up in olmsted falls with them, and especially knowing that they’re more than 2 hours away. it just makes the get togethers that much more appreciated though. there are just too many stories and funny things that happenned over the past week that i’d be here all night if i were to type them out, but tak my word for it, it was incredible.
then to top it all off, devon, candice, and kara were all over in ft. lauderdale but decided to make the drive out to orlando for a girls night last night and it was so perfect. we didn’t do much other than grab some din din at fridays and check-in to our hotel room where we spent the rest of the evening/night, but we didn’t need to, just being around each other again was a blast. a much much needed blast.
then tonight, i had an excellent phone convo with my momma, and also my best friend in columbus, chris and it helped to set my mind straight again. after that, steph and i headed out to downtown disney to catch the new night at the museum movie and it was super cute. definitely a great way to spend the night. and just to finish things up on a good note (which seemed like it would actually be a terrible note), we listenened to the very end of the cavs game and my cavies won in the very last second, thanks to bron bron. but i’m sure you already knew that!
